No, Rings of Saturn is not a psychedelic spacerock band.

In fact, they’re a deathcore  outfit with an above average interest in aliens. Raised on a diet of video games, Carnifex, Suicide Silence and Whitechapel, this Bay area troupe is a bit of an oddball within the deathcore genre. For one few of them will write concept albums about alien invasions that awaken ancient Sumerian evils. Even fewer will use spacey synths or try to craft riffs out of vintage Nintendo sounds. That doesn’t mean that it’s all fun and games with them though. ‘Ultu Ulla isquite a technical album that can at times come up with parts so heavy they would not have been out of place on Morbid Angel’s ‘Domination’. Wonder what they will come up with next…
