Death Resonance of Soilwork is a combination of two new tracks, some tracks that were never released outside Asia, and some of the most popular tracks of Soilwork in a new remix.
The resulting album feels a bit like a “Best of” album, and certainly combines good work of Soilwork. If you need an introduction to the sound of the band, Death Resonance gives a good summary.
While the fans of the band for sure have all full length CDs at home, this release does make a nice addition to their collections. More than anything, since it combines all the best work of Soilwork, it is just really good listening material for when you have a long drive ahead or lots of work to power through.
Conclusion: while two new songs might not sound that exciting, Death Resonance combines so much good work of Soilwork that it is nice to listen to.
