Yesterday Graspop already announced that Iron Maiden was going to be the headliner for Sunday, June 19th. Today (only one day later) Graspop announced 28 more names.
Volbeat, the Denish heavy metal band is added to one of the main headliners for Saturday. King Diamond will be headlining next to Black Sabath on Friday. Black Sabath is not the only one who’s going to do one last tour. Twisted Sister, an American metal band is also going to play one last tour. They’re going out with a blast with their tour ‘Forty and Fuck It’. They will be closing the 21st edition of Graspop by playing on Sunday.
Amon Amarth, who played Pukkelpop this year, will come back to the place where he belongs, Graspop Metal Meeting 2016.
Also a band who we were definitely expecting to come to Graspop: Bullet For My Valentine. They released their new album ‘Venom’ August 14 2015. Another band who released a new album in 2015 is Trivium. They released their album ‘Silence in the Snow’ on Oktober 2, 2015 and already promoted it on Alcatraz Metal Fest this year.
Other names who are added to the line up now are Abbath, Arcturus, August Burns Red, Borknagar, Bury Tomorrow, Dirksneider, Dark Funeral, Delain, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Grand Magnus, La Muerte, Legion of the Damned, Loudness, Monuments, Moonspell, Myrkur, Oomph!, Overkill, Sacred Reich, Satyricon, Slaves, Testament, The Algorithm, The Midnight Ghost Train and Virgin Steele.
Tickets will be sold from oktober 15.
