Epic-News was just released. Dutch symphonic metal band Epic has announced they will create their very own metal fest. Epica will play on Graspop main stage on 19 july.

The band itself has announced the news on their facebook page. After their passage in Eindhoven as part of the 2013 Retrospect jubilee tour. They were awed by the unique atmosphere   and architecture of the "klokgebouw" building. So much even that they decided it would be the ideal place. 

Guitarist Mark Jansen explains that after touring the globe for 12 years. He wondered how to best yourself as a band after this. And the answer was as quick as it was obvious. Organise your own festival. 

The festival will take place on November 22th and can build on a solid lineup of befriended bands. The ones that have been cleared are Eluveitie,Fear Factory, Moonspell, Delain, Periphery.  More bands to be announced.
