The Alcatraz Metal Fest, which will take place for the 3d time in the West-Flemish city of KORTRIJK, has changed location, going from the greens of KATHO to the sports complex of Lange Munte, about 3 km due east of the previous site.

That would allow the event to grow even more than it could at the previous grounds, which would mean a bigger stage could be provided for larger bands, including Swedish power metal band SABATON and bands like POWERWOLF or NIGHTWISH, to bring their full sets on stage.

With still 6 spots to be filled, one of them has been announced in the corridors: VENOM will join the stage, sliding in as co-headliner in front of SABATON!
