Wacken, the biggest metal festival of the world that takes place in Germany, always had troubles with rain. Heavy rain would cause certain areas of the festival and campsite to flood. Rain is not a problem, but swimming from stage to stage might be a bit too much. That’s why Wacken decided to take it’s measures.
On the third of June, the German festival Rock Am Ring was being evacuated due to a suspicion of a terrorism threat. Rammstein was about to play, when the festival announced the news to 90.000 people. Luckily, everybody staid calm during the evacuation.
Many bands have been denied entry in country's before. Many got even outright banned. Evil Invaders joins a long list of Metal bands today. Somehow this trend has been picking up specifically with bands wanting to play in good old 'Murica.
The saying goes, if your balls ain't shaking, it isn't loud enough. Enter Headbangers Balls. A small Belgian Metalfest who has been flying under the radar for many years. They have just released the complete lineup of this year's one day edition.
On July 28 and 29 The Bälver Hölle will once more become the stage for the annual festival organized by the eclectic German label Prophecy.

Yesterday was Metal Monday. Graspop released the final list of bands for this year's edition. And there are some whopping names in that list.
